Unfortunately, the mini-shoot day on April 24th got rained out, but we've rescheduled for Saturday, May 8th! One of my clients from the April date can't make the May date, so that means a spot has opened up! If you'd like to snatch up the newly opened time slot of 3:30-4:00 pm, please email (grace.designs@hotmail.com) or call (330.312.6263) and I can get you in the books!
Mini-shoots are $75 and you get a 30-minute session, an online gallery to share with family and friends, and a free 8 x 10! See below for more information.

grace designs photography news...
i'm horrible at updating this blog! since my last post, i've been on trips to texas and ohio, attended an awesome day-and-a-half photography workshop, hosted out of town guests for almost a week, stayed for several days and nights with the kids i nanny for, and have done 3 more belly shoots! and yes, i still work full-time. SO...do i get off the hook for not posting a blog? please?
i have been working on a "real" website...so pretty soon, when you visit this address, you'll be sent to my fancy schmancy site with new pictures and cute music. hopefully it will be a valuable tool for me in marketing my business!
"enjoy" these last 2 weeks of winter. before we know it, we'll be blasting the AC and wishing for some cool weather. :)

Long Time, No Post
Sorry it's been so long since my last post! I've had my parents in from out of town, a LOT of photos to go through and edit, and 3 more photo shoots since I last posted...all on top of my full-time job! I did have a week off of my nanny job since I last wrote, but still...things have been hectic.
I will be getting more pictures up in the next week, so please check back!

Starting Out
One day in April of this year, the following thought ran through my mind: "If I could go back and do it all over again, I'd be a professional photographer." My very next thought was: "Wait...I'm 24, not 94...I can still do something about this!" I don't want to send the wrong message out and cause people to think that I wish I weren't a nanny, because I LOVE my current job. I guess I just took a moment to challenge myself to think about the future, and what I want to be when I "grow up".
I know that everything I've done, every job I've had, and every different stage of my life so far has been meaningful in preparing me for this stage of my life. God has been cultivating me through my long-time obsession with photography, my education, my passion for people, my time spent with children, my love for weddings, and an intrigue with human relationships, to bring me to this point.
So now, with everything in place, and after years of taking photographs for fun, I've decided to turn my hobby into a business. I hope you enjoy my blog dedicated to some of my favorite photos. I'll do my best to keep it updated with coverage of recent work!
