Andrea's Belly

Meet Andrea. We've been great friends for almost 8 years now. It's hard to believe how quickly time flies! We have shared many wonderful times together including college, vacations, both of our engagements to our husbands, both of our weddings, pregnancy/baby excitement, and many other special occasions. It was such a privilege for me to be able to capture her beautiful, 7-month belly, and also get her adorable 2 year old in some shots, too. :)

i'm horrible at updating this blog! since my last post, i've been on trips to texas and ohio, attended an awesome day-and-a-half photography workshop, hosted out of town guests for almost a week, stayed for several days and nights with the kids i nanny for, and have done 3 more belly shoots! and yes, i still work full-time. SO...do i get off the hook for not posting a blog? please?

i have been working on a "real" website...so pretty soon, when you visit this address, you'll be sent to my fancy schmancy site with new pictures and cute music. hopefully it will be a valuable tool for me in marketing my business!

"enjoy" these last 2 weeks of winter. before we know it, we'll be blasting the AC and wishing for some cool weather. :)

What a Cute Belly!

At the beginning of December, I showcased my first "belly shoot" of my client and friend, Lindsey. She was 5 months pregnant at the time...just starting to show. It's amazing what happens to a woman's belly when you add 8 weeks! Here is Lindsey again, at 7 months...as sweet as ever, and anxiously awaiting the arrival of her (and her husband's) little baby boy. Baby Hayden, you are already so loved, and we can't wait to meet you!

My First Belly Shots

This is one of my best friends ever, Lindsey. She's 5 months pregnant with her first child, and just found out that she and her husband are having a boy! I can't wait to meet the handsome little man! Thanks, Linds, for letting me take my first belly photos of you! You look great and I can only hope I'm half as cute of a prego someday! Love you tons.

The Perfect Autumn Day

Each autumn, I am simply amazed at the changing colors on the trees. What a creative God we have! After rescheduling this photo shoot twice due to *not-so-great* Michigan weather, the perfect autumn day finally arrived and I got to take pictures for this lovely family. High sixties, green grass, vibrant colors on the trees, and happy kids. I couldn't have asked for better conditions! :)










We also took some time to go indoors and get some 7/1/2 month photos of Nina. Don't you just get lost in those eyes of hers?
