Girls Just Wanna Have Fun!

My niece, Stephanie (far right in the first photo) and some of her girlfriends have had their pictures taken together since they were three years old! It was so fun for me to be able to capture them this year, now that I'm back in town! I didn't need to direct many shots, since they were all so full of energy and ideas of their own! Thanks, girls, for letting me take these pictures of you. I hope you had as much fun as I did! (p.s. more to come!!)

Time Flies!

There's never a dull moment when these little cuties are around! It's been almost a year and a half since I last took photos of this family, and it's just remarkable to look back and see how much they've grown! I hope you enjoy your preview while I finish editing the rest of your session. :)

2 Years Old!

I don't even need to write much about this little man except for how much I miss watching him every day! I mean, what could I possibly say that could top the cute little expressions on his face? Adorable.

His Mom wanted a non-smiling shot of his big sister to print and hang by the more serious photos I took of her brothers a few months ago. I think she nailed the look!

And last but not least...my favorite family shot of the day...

Morgan: Newborn Session

Sweet Little Morgan was 3 weeks old when I got to meet her and take these photos. It's always a challenge to capture newborns, but it's so worth it! How can you not fall in love with that cute little face and tiny fingers and toes? It really is a privilege to document those first expressions in a child's life...even the ones that don't include a smile. Mandy and Paul, I hope you enjoy your preview. There are many more to come!

I took a few nursery shots while Morgan was taking a snack break. Cute, isn't it?

Megan: Senior Session

This shoot was particularly special for me because I've known Megan since she was in kindergarten! Growing up in a small Christian school, it wasn't uncommon for a high school student to chat with an elementary student in the hallway, and that's exactly how our friendship started! One of my favorite memories about Megan includes her mom bringing her to my volleyball and basketball games to cheer me on. I'd look up in the stands during a game and there was Megan...wearing a miniature #13 (my number) jersey and waving pom poms! I had my own little fan club! Well, we're way past those days, but Megan and I have stayed in touch, and I've been able to witness her transformation from a sweet little girl to an even sweeter young woman. She is beautiful, kind, funny, and wise beyond her years. Most of all, Megan has a heart for the Lord, and I'm confident that she will go on to do great things with her life. Sorry for the emotional little message...I just had to say all that! Meg, I had a blast with you while getting these photos! I hope you enjoy what you see, and don't forget that there are many, many more to come!
