Beautiful Braylon

OK...this 7 month old baby is too cute! When he's not smiling, he looks like this uber-serious little man, but then you get him to laugh, and he lights up the whole room with that grin of his. And...once he started smiling, he just never stopped. See for yourself...

Mckenna turns 1!

Mckenna Leigh is the beautiful daughter of one of my long-time friends, Jenn. Jenn and I have known each other since we were 5 years old and have been through many different stages of our lives together. It's crazy to think that we've been close since we were little kids, and now we're at the age where WE have kids of our own. I got to take these photos of Mckenna at her first birthday party. She is an absolute doll!

Lovely Girls

Asha and Nina are two of my favorite kids to photograph. They are SO photogenic and beautiful...and are always in a good mood when I take their pictures, which makes my job much easier! This was one gorgeous, spring day...absolutely perfect!

Grand Rapids Landscape Photography

I was recently commissioned to do some landscape photography for a dermatology office here in Grand Rapids. The office just moved to a new location, and the doctors wanted a new look to go with the new venue. I had a complete blast taking these photos, and I'm thrilled to say that my clients were extremely happy with the results. They ended up ordering 16 of my photos in gallery wrapped canvases in sizes ranging from 18x24 through 30x40. They are also ordering a few more and one of them is going to be 40 x 90! Sweet Little Ellie - 10 Days Old

Newborn shoots can be challenging, but they're also tons of fun. I think that being able to photograph a fragile, brand new baby is such a privilege. Every time I'm around a newborn, I'm just amazed at their tiny features...it's so incredible how God truly knits them together in their Mother's womb. It's nothing shy of a miracle!
